March 12, 2025 – Revine Technologies, a Pune-headquartered engineering firm, has announced a strategic expansion that moves beyond standalone instrument supply into full engineering project delivery. The company is launching a dedicated System Integration division, rolling out Industrial AI and Edge AI solutions, and beginning local production of select test and measurement products under the Make in India initiative at its Gurugram facility.

The move marks a significant shift for Revine, which previously focused on supplying individual test instruments. Now, the company aims to help manufacturers stitch together testing equipment, sensors, software, and factory data into cohesive systems tailored to specific production or research requirements. This end-to-end approach addresses a common pain point: sophisticated equipment purchased from multiple vendors often fails to interoperate seamlessly.

Revine’s new System Integration unit will serve customers across automotive and electric vehicles, semiconductors, electronics manufacturing, renewable energy, aerospace and defense, data centers, and industrial automation. Its scope spans solution design, hardware and software integration, engineering validation, installation, commissioning, and ongoing lifecycle support.

“The complexity of modern manufacturing demands integrated solutions, not just isolated instruments,” said a company spokesperson. “By owning the entire integration chain, we reduce downtime, improve data flow, and accelerate time-to-market for our clients.”

The Industrial AI and Edge AI offerings are designed to bring real-time intelligence to factory floors. Revine plans to embed machine learning models into edge devices, enabling predictive maintenance, quality inspection, and process optimization without relying on cloud connectivity. This is particularly relevant for industries with strict data sovereignty or latency requirements, such as defense and semiconductor fabs.

Simultaneously, the company’s Make in India program will develop and manufacture a range of test and measurement products locally. The Gurugram facility is expected to produce oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers, reducing import dependence and aligning with India’s push for self-reliance in electronics.

Industry analysts see the expansion as timely. According to a recent IDC report, the global industrial AI market is projected to grow at a compound annual rate of 28% through 2027, reaching $28 billion. “Revine’s move to combine system integration with AI and local manufacturing positions it to capture a larger share of the India market, which is seeing rapid automation across automotive, electronics, and renewable energy sectors,” said Ravi Sharma, a Mumbai-based technology analyst.

The company’s strategy also mirrors trends seen in the United States, where firms like National Instruments and Keysight have long offered integrated test and measurement platforms. By offering a similar model tailored to Indian manufacturing needs, Revine could become a preferred partner for both domestic OEMs and multinationals operating in India.

Revine’s expansion is expected to create 150 new engineering jobs across its Pune and Gurugram offices over the next 12 months, with a focus on systems architects, AI engineers, and embedded software developers.

For customers, the benefits are clear: single-point accountability, reduced integration risks, and faster deployment of complex test systems. As Indian manufacturing scales up under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes, the demand for turnkey test solutions is likely to surge.

Revine Technologies, founded in 2015, has already deployed over 500 test systems across India and Southeast Asia. Its client list includes several Fortune 500 companies in the automotive and electronics sectors. The new divisions are expected to start operations immediately, with the first AI-powered test systems scheduled for customer delivery in Q3 2025.
