As of May 7, 2026, two new Test Track souvenirs are available at EPCOT in Walt Disney World: a pressed penny set featuring Mickey and Friends and a $14.99 Test Track keychain. Both items are at the Test Track Gear Shop, the store located at the attraction’s exit. The release gives ride fans a low-cost collectible option and a practical piece of merchandise in one trip.
The new pressed penny machine carries eight designs. Each one pairs Mickey and Friends with the Test Track theme, using outfits and poses that fit the attraction’s automotive testing setting. Every finished penny includes both the Test Track wordmark and an EPCOT wordmark, making the ride link clear even at a glance.
Collectors will notice that the penny set does not use the same layout for every design. Some pennies feature a single character, while others show two characters riding together in what looks like a shared test vehicle.
The full line-up is as follows:
The pairings give the set more variety than a typical pressed penny run. Including Stitch and Scrump is an interesting choice because it moves beyond the core Mickey and Friends group into a broader Disney character universe. For collectors, that makes the set feel less repetitive and more worth completing.
One detail on the pennies stands out: they use the Test Track wordmark in its current form, but the EPCOT wordmark is the older Epcot logotype. That split branding is subtle but noticeable if you compare the lettering side by side.
For the average guest, the difference may not matter much. But for Disney merchandise collectors, it says a lot about how logos are managed across Walt Disney World. Attraction-level branding often updates at a different pace from park-level branding. This penny set is a good example of that uneven transition.
The mixed wordmark also gives the pennies a bit of a transitional feel. They are clearly Test Track-focused, but they are not carrying the full EPCOT rebranding package. That makes them an interesting snapshot of where the park’s visual identity stood when this merchandise was produced.
The new Test Track keychain sells for $14.99. It uses silver-toned hardware and a black faux-leather tag. At the center of the tag is a silver-toned metal plate with the Test Track wordmark. Just below the wordmark, the plate reads “presented by General Motors.”
The keychain is a straightforward design. It does not add character art or a molded plastic charm. The appeal is in the clean logo presentation and the metallic plate, which should hold up well over time.
It also fits the Test Track brand without leaning on the ride vehicle itself. Instead, the keychain lets the attraction’s name and the General Motors connection do the work. That makes it a slightly more grown-up Test Track souvenir than some of the plush or figurine-style options.
Pressed pennies have remained a steady category of Disney merchandise for decades. They are small, inexpensive, and easy to store, which makes them a practical choice for guests who want a souvenir without creating clutter at home.
The new Test Track machine follows a familiar pattern: insert a penny, add the required coins, turn the crank, and receive an elongated coin with a custom design. The finished piece is dense enough to carry a lot of detail despite the small surface area.
For collectors, new designs are important because they add fresh goals to an existing collection. A set with eight different designs, especially one that includes pairings, gives guests a reason to bring multiple pennies to the same machine. It also makes the machine feel like a small attraction in itself.
The Test Track set is not the only recent pressed penny release at Walt Disney World. The Magic Kingdom also has Cars-themed pressed pennies available for guests who want to keep the automotive theme going.
That can be a useful extension of a park-wide penny hunt. After picking up the Test Track designs at EPCOT, guests can head to the Magic Kingdom on a separate park day and look for the Cars set. The two collections share a vehicle-focused theme, but they are stylistically different enough to stand on their own.
For guests planning a Disney World trip, it is worth checking the pressed penny machines near each ride exit. This is where many of the newest designs tend to appear first. The Test Track machine, located at the ride’s exit shop, follows that pattern.
The combination of a new pressed penny machine and a new keychain gives Test Track fans two reasons to stop by the Gear Shop. The penny set is the bigger draw for collectors, while the keychain is a simple, affordable gift option.
Both items are available now, but Disney merchandise can rotate quickly. If you are planning an EPCOT visit, it may be best to pick them up earlier rather than later.
