Corps Security

February 15, 2026 – UK-based security services firm Corps Security today published its 2026 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report, taking stock of its 2025 performance. The document reveals a 18.57% reduction in total carbon footprint, a Platinum rating from neutral carbon verification program Neutral Carbon Zone, and £275,000 raised for charity partners. The company also rolled out an integrated compliance dashboard that monitors nearly 1,000 legislative items in real time, marking a shift toward more transparent governance.

The report comes as regulatory pressure mounts on both sides of the Atlantic. In the U.S., the Securities and Exchange Commission’s final climate disclosure rules, though paused in litigation, have already pushed many private firms to voluntarily adopt stricter reporting. Corps Security’s move to secure Platinum certification – the highest tier under Neutral Carbon Zone – positions it ahead of many comparable security firms that still rely on basic carbon accounting.

Emission Reduction Across All Scopes

Corps recorded a 18.57% year-over‑year drop in total emissions, bringing the group closer to its 2050 net‑zero target. The breakdown shows improvements in all three scopes:

  • Scope 1: Down 35.26% to 93.68 tCO₂e, largely thanks to the continued electrification of the company’s fleet.
  • Scope 2: Fell 5.40% to 35.91 tCO₂e, helped by switching to renewable energy tariffs across Corps’ properties.
  • Scope 3: The biggest slice of the footprint came in at 6,098.49 tCO₂e – an 18.31% reduction, reflecting tighter supply chain engagement and lower purchased goods emissions.

These cuts are deep enough to earn Corps the Platinum certification from Neutral Carbon Zone, which requires meeting the International Carbon Reduction and Offset Alliance (ICROA) standards. The certification signals that the firm’s reporting methodology aligns with the highest global benchmarks.

Third-Party Ratings and Veteran Recognition

Beyond its own reporting, Corps Security maintained a Silver rating from EcoVadis, the business sustainability ratings provider. Its strongest pillar was the environment, where it landed in the top 3% of the security industry – a notable achievement given that many security contractors still struggle to measure Scope 3 emissions.

As a certified social enterprise, Corps also obtained Corporate Ready certification from Veteran Owned UK, verifying that it meets the governance standards required to work with large corporate partners. The dual status – social enterprise and veteran‑owned – differentiates Corps in a competitive market where clients increasingly demand both purpose and compliance.

£275,000 for Charity and Community

Fundraising efforts in 2025 raised £275,000 for charities supporting veteran communities and local cadet groups, as well as Corps’ own charitable foundation. The company says the money directly funded mental health support, employment training, and equipment for reserve forces units.

Governance Upgrade with Real‑Time Dashboard

A standout feature of the 2026 report is the new integrated compliance dashboard, which tracks nearly 1,000 legislative updates in near‑real time. The tool is designed to hold both the boardroom and frontline staff accountable for regulatory adherence. A cross‑functional ESG Scrutiny Group – composed of members from legal, operations and HR – led the effort to achieve ISO 27001 certification and expand mandatory training: 2,156 employees completed anti‑bribery modules, and 934 finished modern slavery awareness training.

CEO: “Tradition Meets Modernity”

“This report reflects another year in which our commitments have translated into tangible results,” said Mike Bullock, CEO of Corps Security. “We’ve made significant progress towards our environmental targets while championing social value and solidifying our management systems. We are proving that a business can be both traditional in its values and modern in its approach – and that these qualities are entirely complementary.”

What’s Next

The 2026 report sets a baseline for the next phase of Corps’ net‑zero journey. With fleet electrification nearly complete, the company is expected to turn its attention to deeper Scope 3 reductions, possibly by requiring suppliers to meet the same carbon reporting standards. The compliance dashboard also paves the way for automated ESG data feeds, reducing manual errors and permitting more frequent public updates.

As U.S. regulators continue to refine climate disclosure requirements – and as corporate buyers tighten their own supply chain standards – Corps Security’s proactive approach may give it a competitive edge in winning contracts that demand verified ESG performance.
