The gasoline filter of the Zotye T600 is located on the chassis. The function of the gasoline filter is to filter out moisture and impurities from the gasoline. When the engine is running, fuel enters the filter's settling cup through the fuel inlet pipe under the action of the fuel pump. The gasoline filter and air filter element are made of the same material. Both are made of paper. The paper filter element is made of resin-treated microporous filter paper. The gasoline filter appears to be metal on the outside, but the inside is actually paper. The condition of the filter element cannot be determined from the outside; it can only be seen by disassembly. The gasoline filter should be replaced every 20,000 kilometers. Steps to replace the gasoline filter: First, remove the car key, disconnect the Zotye T600's fuel pump fuse or disconnect the vehicle's power supply to prevent the fuel pump from drawing gasoline during disassembly. Then, remove the rear seat cushion and the cover on the fuel pump of the Zotye T600 to access the fuel pump assembly. The fuel pump assembly is secured by a black retaining ring. Only after removing the screw plug and fuel pipe on the fuel pump can a special tool be used to remove the retaining ring. After removing the retaining ring, the fuel pump assembly can be taken out. Replace the corresponding parts of the old gasoline filter with new ones.
