The knob for adjusting the rearview mirrors on the Hongqi HS5 is located at the front of the door panel. It supports folding the exterior rearview mirrors—simply turn the knob to the appropriate angle. Method for adjusting the rearview mirrors: In the driver's compartment, use the adjustment buttons to make adjustments. When adjusting the left rearview mirror's up and down position, place the distant horizon in the center. For the left and right positions, adjust so that the car body occupies 1/4 of the mirror's surface. Location of the rearview mirror adjustment knob in other models: On the HS5, the rearview mirror adjustment knob is located at the front of the door panel. Once during rain, I safely passed through a narrow width restrictor by pressing it in advance. Additionally, I discovered that holding the lock button for three seconds can also trigger the folding function, which is handy for remote operation. The turn signal wiring in the mirrors is interconnected with the folding motor, so caution is needed during modifications to avoid disturbing the wiring harness. It's advisable to regularly spray WD-40 on the pivot to prevent rust and ensure smooth folding.
