Power on the vehicle and reset the trip meter on the dashboard. Press the button on the dashboard to switch the display mode to show instant fuel consumption. Then, press and hold the right button without releasing. Long press the mode switch button on the dashboard, turn the ignition switch to the NO position, and then release the mode switch button. Continue pressing the right button for more than three seconds. Simultaneously press the mode switch button and the time adjustment button on the dashboard. Immediately press and hold both the left and right buttons, and release them within two seconds. The wrench icon will disappear.

I just did it myself, and it's quite simple. First, turn off the ignition by pressing the one-touch start button to shut off the engine. Then, hold down the TRIP button on the dashboard without releasing it, and press the one-touch start button to power on the system—make sure not to press the brake pedal to start the engine. At this point, you'll see the wrench light flashing continuously. Wait until it stops flashing, then release the TRIP button. After that, try starting the engine—the light should definitely be off. The first time I did it, it took me a while to get the timing right. The key is to press the buttons in the correct sequence and wait long enough after powering on for the system to reset. It's best to do this right after a maintenance service, as it helps calculate the next maintenance cycle more accurately.

Don't panic about the light, let me teach you a reliable method. After turning off the engine, press and hold the small button next to the dashboard (usually the trip reset button). While keeping it pressed, press the start button to power on the electrical system (the dashboard lights up completely, no need to start the engine). Then watch the maintenance reminder light - it should turn off after about 5 seconds. I saw technicians at the 4S dealership doing exactly this procedure last time, but be careful not to press wrong buttons when doing it yourself. If you really can't manage it, going to a repair shop for computer decoding is more reliable, as random button pressing might affect other settings.

With the engine off, press and hold the TRIP button on the instrument panel, then press the one-touch start to power on to the ACC position. At this point, the wrench icon on the screen will start flashing. Count to three seconds and then release the button. The whole process takes no more than ten seconds and is much easier than you might think. Before doing it yourself, it's recommended to check the owner's manual to confirm the button position, as it may vary for different model years. I've helped friends with this three times, and each time it was done quickly. This method does not affect normal driving data; it simply resets the reminder.

I have experience with resetting the light. After turning off the car, hold down the button on the dashboard, usually labeled RESET. Simultaneously press the start button to power on to the second gear, where the dashboard lights up but the engine doesn't start. Observe the maintenance warning light's flashing changes, and once it stabilizes, release the button to complete the process. When doing it yourself, make sure the vehicle is in P (Park) position. The principle of this operation is to reset the maintenance counter in the car's computer, so it must be done right after an oil change. If you can't manage it, just go to a repair shop—they can solve it in thirty seconds with a diagnostic tool.

The operation actually consists of three steps: After the vehicle is completely turned off, first press and hold the round setting button on the instrument panel. While keeping it pressed, lightly tap the one-touch start button to power on the vehicle. At this point, you'll see the instrument panel light up but the engine won't start. Continue holding the button until the indicator light flashes and changes, which takes about five seconds before releasing. I've tried this on several car models, and the key point is to wait for the system to fully boot up after powering on before releasing. The whole process is much more convenient than going to the 4S store, and you can also familiarize yourself with other setting functions on the instrument panel.
