Introduction to the Causes of Engine Vibration in the Excelle: 1. Engine Misfire; Engine misfire mainly refers to one or more cylinders not functioning properly. This is often related to ignition coil failure. 2. Aging or Loosening of Engine Mounts; Engine mounts are rubber blocks placed between the engine and the frame. Their purpose is to reduce vibration and buffering during engine operation and to secure the engine. Once these mounts age or loosen, engine vibration becomes significantly worse. Replacing the engine mounts can greatly reduce the vibration. 3. Carbon Buildup; Carbon buildup includes deposits in the cylinders, throttle body, spark plugs, and intake system. Excessive carbon buildup inside the engine can affect the ignition energy, intake efficiency, and air-fuel mixture ratio, leading to unstable power output and causing vibration during idling and acceleration. It is recommended to have the engine cleaned at a 4S shop. 4. Fuel System Malfunction. Using an incompatible fuel grade can reduce the car's power output and performance. Alternatively, if the fuel tank vent is blocked, or the fuel tank switch, fuel filter, or fuel lines between the tank and carburetor are partially obstructed, the required fuel supply may not be met, resulting in a lean mixture and engine vibration. It is advised to use the manufacturer-recommended fuel grade and perform regular maintenance.
