How to Solve Water in Fuel?
1 Answers
The solution for water in fuel depends on the amount of water: 1. Small amount of water: The engine can start and run normally, just add a fuel tank water remover; 2. Large amount of water: Pump out the fuel, clean the fuel tank and fuel pump assembly, and replace with new fuel. The reasons for water in fuel are: 1. The temperature inside the fuel tank is high, while the outside temperature is relatively low, causing condensation due to the temperature difference; 2. The fuel tank cap is not tightened, allowing water to enter the tank during rain or car washing; 3. Fuel quality and storage issues, leading to accumulated water in the tank; 4. Ethanol gasoline, under certain temperatures, can separate water as the alcohol evaporates.
